It has been an up and down year for the 17th ranked U of L women's basketball team, but the Cards finished out the regular season last strong night with a 63-53 win over Seton Hall. RS Freshman Shawnta' Dyer had another impressive game scoring a career-high 22 points. Junior Asia Taylor also had a big game managing to pull in a career-high 12 rebounds.
The Cards have really turned it on winning four of their last five and are playing very well heading into the conference tournament. The Cardinals have earned a first-round bye in the tournament. The bracket will be released tonight after all conference games have been played.
